Industry Veteran Kirk Bowman Joins ClusterHQ Board of Directors

Sales Executive Who Helped Build Multiple Billion Dollar Companies Will Advise on Establishing Market for Container Data Management.

SILICON VALLEY, CALIFORNIA - June 02, 2015 ClusterHQ, The Container Data People, today announced that Kirk Bowman has joined its board of directors. Bowman is currently a board member at several leading technology companies, including Atlassian and Couchbase, and was formerly on the board at Nimble Storage. Widely recognized as one of the technology industry’s foremost experts in innovative go-to-market strategy and execution, Bowman will leverage his experience with high growth and category defining companies to accelerate adoption of ClusterHQ’s flagship product Flocker, the industry’s first container data management solution.

Bowman’s deep operational experience with category dominating companies in the storage, data and virtualization domains will be key as ClusterHQ establishes container data management as a fundamental tool for putting containers into production. Throughout his career, he has held leadership positions at numerous category defining companies, such as VMware, EqualLogic, Nimble Storage, Atlassian and Parametric Technology. Additionally, Bowman is a lecturer at the Stanford Graduate School of Business where he teaches a course in building and managing professional sales organizations.
